Das Forschungsteam um Professor Dr. Joachim Wegener, Leiter der Gruppe Zellbasierte Sensorik an der Fraunhofer-Einrichtung f\u00fcr Mikrosysteme und Festk\u00f6rper-Technologien (EMFT) sowie um Professor Dr. Ralf Wagner vom Institut f\u00fcr Medizinische Mikrobiologie und Hygiene der Universit\u00e4t Regensburg arbeitet an einem innovativen Ansatz, der die aufw\u00e4ndigen Neutralisationstests nicht nur beschleunigen, sondern auch optimieren k\u00f6nnte. Das bisher verwendete arbeits- und kostenintensive F\u00e4rbeverfahren soll dabei durch ein neues Assay-Konzept ersetzt werden, das mit intrinsischen biologischen Verst\u00e4rkungsmechanismen arbeitet. Auf diese Weise l\u00e4sst sich eine sehr niederschwellige virale Beeinflussung der Zell-Physiologie in Echtzeit \u2013 statt als Momentaufnahme \u2013 nachweisen.
